Acquisition of Treplás, Spain
Jokey continues to enhance its diversity by incorporating Treplás into its portfolio. The Spanish packaging producer is also a long-established family business, founded in 1971. The production facility is located in Molina de Segura, in the Murcia region, approximately 200 kilometers south of Valencia. With 40 employees, they produce packaging for the food industry, as well as caps, closures, and custom solutions for beauty and homecare products. The businesses are still managed by the Rubio Ruiz brothers. A new and modern production facility is planned to be constructed in 2019. Both family-owned companies share a philosophy of maintaining close proximity to their customers, which complements their product ranges perfectly.
