Product Description
The term IML is derived from the initials of "In Mould Labelling." In this method, a pre-printed and die-cut Polypropylene (PP) film is placed into the mold. Subsequently, the melted PP merges with the label inside the mold, resulting in a decorated product with high printing quality.
IML labels can be used with Injection IML, Thermoform IML, and Blow-molding IML technologies.
What factors make IML technology superior to other decoration systems?
The high printing resolution obtained with offset printing enhances product visibility on the shelf by decorating all surfaces of the container.
It exhibits high durability against sudden changes in heat and humidity, providing high performance to meet hygienic requirements in the food sector.
It offers cost advantages with much shorter production times compared to dry offset or adhesive label usage.
It is environmentally friendly.
The ability to decorate the same plastic container with different labels allows targeting different product groups with a single mold.
