Headquartered in Istanbul, SEM Plastik is one of the largest manufacturers in its sector, with a factory covering 20,000 square meters in Silivri and an 8,500 square meter facility in Malatya. SEM Plastik boasts a wide product portfolio that includes plastic cups, plates, forks, knives, ice cream containers, yogurt cups, airline catering equipment, and food packaging varieties.

SEM Plastik’s commitment to quality is certified by international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC-IOP, HACCP, TSEK, and FDA approvals. The company uses top-grade, eco-friendly, and recyclable raw materials in all its products.

SEM Plastik is an active member of numerous industry organizations, including EUPC, WFO, PAGEV, ISO, ITO, ASD, ASUD, PLMA, ITCA, ÇEVKOR, MECC, and TOBB’s Plastic, Rubber, and Composite Industry Assembly, often holding leadership roles in these associations. The company is also involved in various social responsibility projects in collaboration with organizations such as Silivri Sports Football Team, Adım Adım Initiative, McDonald’s Children’s Foundation, Istanbul Technical University’s (ITU) Environmental Protection and Research Foundation (ÇEVKOR), and the Turkish Red Crescent.

In addition to producing plastic food packaging, SEM Plastik also operates Credoy Polimer, a raw material distribution company, Sem Global Foreign Trade, established in 2006 to manage the group’s international trade, and Sem Studio Design Solutions. The group employs a total of 350 people.

SEM Plastik serves some of the world’s largest airline companies, including Turkish Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Singapore Airlines, as well as meal producers such as Turkish DO&CO and LSG Sky Chefs. The company’s client portfolio in this field includes nearly 40 airlines. SEM Plastik also caters to leading companies such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Coca Cola, Unilever, and Danone, and provides products to major retail chains like Carrefour, Migros, and BİM, as well as dairy producers like Ülker, Sütaş, and Pınar.
