**Company History**

It all began in 1960 when Mr. Refik Bilgili opened a small workshop in the historic district of Balat, Istanbul, near the Byzantine city walls on the shores of the Golden Horn. Together with his sons Metin and Murat, he initially focused on the maintenance and repair of industrial machines. Recognizing the needs of the packaging industry, the family soon ventured into the production of flexographic printing machines for packaging films. Over time, they expanded their product range to include laminating machines and cutting/rewinding machines, thereby covering the entire spectrum of equipment needed for flexible packaging production.

In the 1980s, with the rapid growth of the polypropylene woven sack sector, REMAK designed the legendary roll-to-roll fabric printing machine, which has since been installed over 300 times worldwide. REMAK's superior design and technology have been strong arguments for customer preference. The ease of operation and robust construction of REMAK machines have contributed significantly to the company's remarkable success story.
