More Details →Our story began in 1942 in Wallsend, near Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, with Cookson producing lead salt-based stabilizers for flexible PVC. Shortly after, Cookson expanded its operations by establishing a production facility in Sydney, Australia.
In 1976, Akdeniz Kimya was founded in Izmir as a company focused on the production and sale of PVC stabilizers and various industrial chemicals.
In 1986, the German stabilizer manufacturer Chemetall and the British Cookson Group merged their operations under the name Chemson and relocated their headquarters to Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The company began production at its facilities in Germany, the UK, and Australia. In 2000, following a management buyout, Chemson Polymer-Additive AG was established in Arnoldstein, Austria...
