Screw Compressor - R407C / R404A Chiller

ERBAY Chiller Units are designed in our facility, which operates under the EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, to withstand outdoor conditions and provide the chilled water outlet temperatures specified in the capacity table. Our chillers are delivered ready for installation with all pipe and cable connections made, gas and oil filled, and necessary tests completed. Our units comply with European Union directives and relevant harmonized standards regarding health, safety, and security requirements.

• Cooling Compressor: Depending on demand, 1 or 2 semi-hermetic compact screw compressors are used. Due to their design, screw compressors can operate for extended periods without maintenance. With fewer moving parts, they are economical and easy to maintain. These compressors are equipped with a discharge shut-off valve, a check valve to prevent refrigerant backflow, an oil level switch, oil sight glass, oil separator, filter, crankcase heater, capacity control solenoids, vibration dampers, motor protection relay, and PTC sensors.

• Condenser: The air-cooled condenser is manufactured with high-efficiency copper tubes and specially profiled aluminum fins spaced appropriately. The copper tubes are expanded by a special process to enhance thermal conductivity, achieving maximum heat transfer.

• Fan: High-efficiency, direct-coupled axial fans with overcurrent protection, quiet bearings, and static and dynamic balancing are mounted on the unit to enable the condensation of refrigerant in the condenser.

• Evaporator: The shell and tube-type direct expansion evaporator is manufactured with high-efficiency copper tubes fixed into steel mirror plates through a special process. The removable tube bundle allows for easy maintenance and cleaning. The evaporators are manufactured to EN 14276-1 and EN 13445 standards and are designed for cooling water and glycol solutions. The exterior surface and suction lines of the compressors are insulated with suitable thickness materials.

• Electrical Control Panel: Designed to IP54 protection class, the control panel consists of two sections, power and control, ensuring the safe and fully automatic operation of the unit. It is equipped with contactors, thermal relays, fuses, and switches and complies with the EN 60204-1 standard.

• Microprocessor Control System: The microprocessor control system enables digital display of inlet and outlet water temperatures, suction and discharge gas pressures, superheat temperature in the evaporators, compressor operating times, all current faults, and records of all past faults, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the unit.
